Florence Knoll Knockoff?

 
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. You don't have to be so dramatic about it. I've had things to do. Getting a new business started from scratch takes time. But look what came in through the door. It looks like a Knoll. Not a grassy knoll, but a white fuzzy woolen Knoll

A white wool-ish Knoll knockoff? Beats me I'm just the thrift store guy.

So anyway, we get our stuff from a variety of places and one of the places had this offering. I knew it looked Knollish, but you just knever know. Was it a Knoll knockoff or knot?

I'll knever know, but some pretty knowledgeable people check in here from time to time so maybe they'll know if this Knoll knockoff is a keeper or a with the fishes sleeper. Looky!

Two buttons and removable cushion. That's good.

It's that wool-ish fuzzy stuff. Also good.

Has the right angles and slopes and all that geometry stuff. Good!

But check out this frame. Looks like a shop class project. Not good.

And the back support, whew! That's some heavy duty steel right there.

A lot of mid-century stuff is kind of delicate. We big guys could be comfy in this monster.

1" square steel tubing is going to stand up to a lot of abuse.

This is a chair made to last. It weighs about 60 #
